"I found the antenatal classes with Lucilia extremely helpful in the lead up to my first experience of child birth. We met twice a week during the last few months of pregnancy in a nice location in Cascais, and the lessons could be taught in English. All the most important aspects of pregnancy, child birth and breast feeding were covered, with plenty of opportunity to ask the many questions I had! It is reassuring to have the support of someone so informed at this important time, especially if you have recently moved to Portugal. Other good aspects of the course is the opportunity to meet other expectant mums-to-be who are at a similar stage to yourself and there are some lessons which include the expectant fathers. This course definitely has a leaning towards a natural approach to child birth and Lucilia has a clear idea on how she thinks things should be done, and she covers useful guidance on aspects such as breathing techniques and different positions for birth." 2010 Cascais, Sophie

Os cursos de preparação de parto, pelo método psico-profilático irão decorrer a partir do mês de Outubro de 2010 nos seguintes dias e horários:

• Espaço de yoga e terapias do Restelo 3ªs e 5ªs feiras às 930h (novo horário).


• Holme's Place Avenida da Liberdade 3ªs e 5ªs feiras Às 1230h.


• Holme's Place Miragem av marginal Cascais, 3ªs feiras 1950, 5ªs feiras 1845h.

Inscrições para cursos a iniciar em Outubro (dia 7) até ao final do mês de Setembro junto à recepção do local escolhido.

Todos os cursos no pré e pós parto incluem uma sessão sobre aleitemento materno.

I worked with Lucilia during my pregnancy here in Portugal. I was nervous because it was my first pregnancy and I would be delivering in a foreign country. She is a very experienced Pre natal teacher and mother. She provided a great deal of information for both me and my husband and helped us both to feel much more at ease and ready for our new baby. I know I would not have been as prepared or as confidant as I was with out her instruction and support. I am very thankful that we were able to take this class with Lucilia.

Prenatal classes in English in Cascais

Welcomes you!
Starting in March 2009,
there will be Prenatal Lamaze classes on the beginning of every month in Cascais, at the Holme's Place in Av Marginal.
These classes have the specific aim of helping pregnant women to feel more confident in themselves and more at ease with the birth process.

• There will also be guidance on breastfeeding .




• I aim to support you before, during and after the birth of your baby.




• The Prenatal course is a great way to prepare yourself for giving birth here, as well as a great way to meet other women in a similar situation.
